How to Dial Internationally from Germany
Germany follows the EU standard 00. When dialing out of Germany, remember that if the destination number starts with a '0' (trunk prefix), you must almost always drop that '0' after entering the destination country code.
This code signals your local provider that the call is bound for an international destination. Without it, your call will be routed as a domestic long-distance number.
